Display advertising in The Crestone Eagle offers an excellent return on investment. Since our readers are a highly concentrated demographic of individuals and businesses interested in local events and offerings, every ad is intentionally perused. Whether you are offering catering services, massage, or construction, know that your ad will be seen.

Since The Crestone Eagle is a monthly publication, your ad is viewed the whole month through, and not discarded after a day or a week. Plus, our website is updated weekly!

If you need assistance creating your ad, please contact our advertising department no later than the 18th of the month. We can create your ad for you free of charge. The submission deadline for the upcoming issue of The Crestone Eagle is the 20th of the current month. All ads must be submitted camera-ready by this date. All new ad accounts must be pre-paid.
There are several ways to submit your ad. Please read through our display advertising specifications below.

Payment All payments must be received via U.S. mail or in person, at the address above, prior to publication, unless other arrangements have been made with us. Via mail, we accept checks and money orders only. Cash is accepted in person only. Call to pay via Visa, Mastercard, or Discover. (719-256-4956)
Display Ad Specifications
While we encourage you to be creative with your ads, we do have certain specifications that help us create a consistant and cohesive newspaper.
Column Widths 1 column = 2.25″ 3 columns = 7.25″
2 columns = 4.75″ 4 columns = 9.75″
Column Heights You can increase the height of your ad by 1/2 inch increments.
Example: You could have a 2 column x 4″ high ad, or a 3 column x 6.5″ high ad, etc.
Graphics All graphics, submitted electronically or hard copy, must meet the following requirements. The Crestone Eagle is not responsible for the reproduction quality of ads that have not met these specifications
Gray scale or black & white, please.
200 minimum dpi (more is better) at full size.
Proper size or proportions (click here for ad sizes).
No color ads: We are a black & white publication. We will accept color photos and graphics to be scanned for use in ads. We will convert them to black & white.

Our ad rates are calculated by the column inch. Current rates are $10 per column inch. Please use the simple chart below to calculate your ad costs.
We offer discounted rates for larger sized ads. Discounted prices are shaded. Please see the color key to the right of the chart.
